Service ID:
EP379S1This service supports EIC beneficiaries in securing non-dilutive growth capital through tailored debt financing solutions, enabling them to scale without additional or excessive equity dilution. It is designed for technology-enabled companies seeking to complement or replace equity financing with debt instruments aligned to their growth stage and financial profile. The service provides end-to-end support, from initial debt readiness assessment to lender engagement, negotiation, and closing of financing agreements. Delivered by a team of in-house debt financing experts with a proven track record of raising over USD 200 million for technology companies across Europe, the United States, and the MENA region, the service leverages access to a global network of more than 250 lenders across the US, EU, Asia, and the Middle East. The engagement begins with a comprehensive due diligence and debt readiness assessment, during which the company’s business model, revenue profile, growth trajectory, and financing needs are evaluated to determine suitability for debt financing and to define the optimal structure and size of the facility. This is followed by a preparation and lender identification phase, where relevant lenders are selected based on sector, geography, and financing requirements, and the company is supported in preparing financing materials and structuring its engagement strategy. In the final phase, the service facilitates direct introductions to selected lenders, supports the company throughout discussions and negotiations, and assists in reviewing and finalising term sheets until financing is secured and deployed. The service is typically delivered over a period of 1 to 12 weeks, depending on the company’s level of preparedness and the complexity of the financing process, with many companies receiving initial term sheets within approximately four weeks. It is particularly relevant for technology-enabled companies with established revenues and prior equity investment, operating in sectors such as software, SaaS, AI, fintech, healthtech, climate technology, and industrial technologies. Through this process, beneficiaries gain a clear understanding of their debt financing options, access to a targeted pool of relevant lenders, and the ability to secure financing under terms aligned with their strategic objectives. The service is delivered remotely through a combination of online meetings, document review, and direct interaction with lenders, with continuous support from in-house experts acting as advisors throughout the process.
The total compensation is €30,000 plus a 3-5% success fee based on the total capital raised. The fixed fee is divided into two equal installments. The first payment of €15000 is due upon signing the agreement and confirms the start of our engagement. The second payment of €15000 is payable upon successful receipt of funds and closing of the transaction, together with a 3-5% success fee of the funds received by the investor.
The timeline for the service depends on several factors, including the client's responsiveness, the scope and complexity of the review, and the level of urgency communicated by the client. Based on these variables, the estimated completion time typically ranges between 1 and 6 months.
