Service ID:

EP41S2
Service description
An ongoing service for due diligence support and investment preparation targeting all EIC beneficiaries. This service has two activities: a) Due Diligence Support: EIT Manufacturing can provide support/assistance to signed-up EIC beneficiaries in their Due Diligence processes (Commercial, Technical, or both) as ‘early screening/appraisal/analysis’ services that can help them estimate the company’s value, assets, technological competence, and commercial potential, depending on the goals of each innovator. This ‘early screening support’ would not mean a full-fledged Due Diligence (as that involves documents verification and such other longer processes that the EIC beneficiaries may perform themselves) but screening support from us to EIC beneficiaries through their own DD process. This support is aimed at EIC beneficiaries to receive feedback from our experts on gaps in their DD processes, for error-checks/fact-checking on their Due Diligence documents and Investment Committee memos, to better identify the requirements of potential investors and receive tailored feedback specific to their fundraising needs and investment potential. The topics involve Company presentation/Business Model/Plan, Financials, planned Investment details, Competitive landscape, Exit potential, Risk Assessment, etc. b) Add-on Investment Preparation Services: Conditional only to being contracted for the above Due Diligence support service first, those contracted EIC beneficiaries are then also eligible to request a separate ‘add-on investment preparation service’ that can be further offered to them only: It involves access to the EIT Manufacturing ecosystem, for support towards their fundraising. More specifically, this would mean introductions to investor parties, tailored support on investment preparations (i.e., pitch deck preparations, pitch training and preparation for investor meetings, etc.). The main target audiences are EIC beneficiaries with TRL 7 and above. The implementation will be hybrid (Online/Direct) conducted via a dedicated EIT Manufacturing point of contact.
