Service description

To support individual expansion to international markets, Market Access developed a flexible and systematic approach to offer individual services. This international expansion service enhances target market knowledge, facilitates identification of, and interaction with, leads, accelerates market prospecting, and supports the establishment of international partnerships for both business and R&D. This service is available for all EIC beneficiaries. The service is divided into 3 major steps:

1. Research – Analysis of the sector and validation of marketing channels, as well as developing market research to identify and profile clients and partners
2. Prospecting - The presentation and promotion of businesses, assessing interest, and gathering information to identify opportunities
3. Qualification – boosting lead conversion and opportunity management by fostering relationships and communicating effectively with interested companies. For project monitoring and evaluation, monthly reports on the work in progress, as well as regular information on the measures taken, communications made, and results achieved, will be provided through touchpoint meetings and status emails. This service has a minimum duration of 6 months and will provide the startups with a prospecting plan and customised database with target prospects and direct contacts and a qualified list of potential clients and/or partners.

Throughout our 18 years of activity, we have implemented numerous internationalisation projects for organisations from different industries and geographies. Our vast network of consultants has extensive experience in prospecting and attracting customers in foreign markets, developing an integrated approach to reduce fixed costs and maximise management actions in the markets.

Disclaimer related to service

The service may only be offered to companies that have a TRL of 7 or more. The objectives include (non-exhaustive list): validate the service/product in a new market; prospect potential clients/partners, generate and qualify leads in the target markets. Depending on the market/region to be approached, local consultants might be involved in different stage of the project.

EIC beneficiary applicants should note that under the usual circumstances, the support period is expected to last at least 6 months, depending on the startup's needs, and may be renewed as agreed by the parties. Nevertheless, the period will be adjusted depending on the requirements of EIC beneficiary applicants and the EIC Partner's capacity at that moment in time, keeping in mind this programme's duration and timeline as well (e.g., the period will be reduced/increased). All service periods will be assessed on an individual basis.
