Plug and Play Tech Centre

Service ID:

Service description

Tailor-made acceleration programme for EIC Pathfinder and EIC Transition beneficiaries from the Energy sector. To select the participants, a 1-to-1 call is needed between Plug and Play team and EIC beneficiary. The target group are early-to-mid-stage startups (TRL 1 – 6). The programme will be divided in 3 phases: 1 - Shape; 2-Build; 3 - Sell. The first phase will aim to provide the EIC beneficiaries with core knowledge regarding their product development and differentiation, network building, and business development. The start-ups will benefit from the extensive experience of Plug and Play’s network of mentors and advisors who will provide personalised advice and feedback to each participant. The second phase of the programme will address strategic topics such as pricing and revenues, marketing strategy, hiring and advisors onboarding. The participating start-up will be offered personalised mentorship as well as a public pitching opportunity. Finally, the third phase will particularly focus on pitch deck polishing and improvement, dedicated sessions on how to pitch to investors and customers, and would be concluded by pitching opportunities to investors and corporations as well as by a demo-day during which the participating start-up would be able to showcase their solution. Overall, during the acceleration programme, we also provide expert mentorship in the fields of investment roadmap and round support, business plan and pilot plan, sales capacity building, culture and mental health support, and soft skills (i.e. empathy, leadership, diversity). The service may last from 3 months to a full year. This service will be provided exclusively in a virtual format.
