Adoc Talent Management
Service ID:
EP406S3What is the Service: A comprehensive individual and collective human capital program designed to accelerate the professional transition of academic researchers into corporate leaders, while simultaneously structuring and securing the founding team’s alignment, operational governance, and long-term stability.
Targeting beneficiaries such as academic scientists, young PhDs, and co-founding teams facing operational friction, planning a critical governance shift (e.g., onboarding an external CEO), or preparing for a major funding round.
Goal of the Service: To empower scientific profiles with essential entrepreneurship, leadership, and management skills, while de-risking the venture's human capital by aligning co-founders' motivations, building a shared corporate culture, and establishing a clear, conflict-proof decision-making framework.
Phases of the Service:
- Individual Assessment & Diagnosis: Evaluation of leadership styles, entrepreneurial preferences, and private intake interviews to map each co-founder’s personal values and expectations.
- Skill Acquisition & Collective Alignment: Interactive training on startup posture alongside facilitated mediation workshops to build a unified vision, mission, and core values system.
- Postural Coaching & Governance Formalization: Individual situational coaching on stakeholder communication, paired with collective structuring and co-drafting of the startup’s operational governance framework.
Activities Delivered:
- Deep-dive individual profile and preference mapping.
- Intensive training on entrepreneurial mindset, corporate posture, and business vocabulary.
- Coaching on pitching scientific research results as compelling commercial value propositions.
- Facilitated co-founder mediation focusing on shared Vision, Mission, and Core Values.
- Designing the team's operational governance blueprint (defining decision territories, authority thresholds, and CEO/CTO/CSO dynamics).
- Practical training on managing complex hybrid networks (industrial-academic relationships, tech transfer, and stakeholder dynamics).
Engagement of Experts: Delivered by senior in-house HR strategy consultants and executive coaches specializing in the deeptech ecosystem. Two-thirds of our instructional team hold a PhD across various scientific research fields and possess extensive field expertise in technology transfer, corporate governance, and early-stage startup management.
Expected Outcome: An accelerated development of the researcher’s business posture, enhanced leadership legitimacy, and a fully aligned executive team. The venture is secured by a formalized, practical operational governance framework, eliminating team-split risks and heavily reinforcing investor trust during due diligence.
Process and Mode for the Implementation: Conducted via a hybrid setup, combining individual online coaching and assessment sessions with highly focused, intensive closed-door collective workshops (available online or on-site).
