DISTRICT: Aerospace Acceleration centre of Aerospace Valley

Aerospace Valley

France

Service ID:

EP76S1
Service description

A six-month to two-year acceleration programme at the District by Aerospace Valley directed to EIC Transition and EIC Accelerator beneficiaries. This service aims to support the development and growth of EIC beneficiaries in the ASD industry. Before the start of the programme, EIC beneficiaries will get a free-of-charge diagnostic to confirm their fit with the programme and to define an action plan. This action plan will clarify the services/modules that are most relevant for EIC beneficiaries, as Aerospace Valley’s acceleration programmes are tailor-made. Thereafter, EIC beneficiaries can receive support in the following domains: product/solution design & development (access to laboratories and test centres, industrialisation support, introductions to suppliers); sales/partnerships; soft-landing and immersion in the regional world-renowned ASD capital; fundraising; access to public financing and consortium; business model design; strategy; communication; internationalisation in Europe and worldwide thanks to our networks of clusters partners; other topics defined ad-hoc by AV experts according to the primary diagnostic. To have the best Acceleration conditions, the District proposes access to its co-working facilities in Toulouse (other strategic regional locations soon available and to be discussed individually, whether occasional on-demand hot desks or permanent desks, upon availability – limited number of desks applied); dedicated staff to answer questions/issues/needs; access to a pool of ASD experts, coaches, potential customers, suppliers, partners; access to District’s and the ecosystem events. The service can have a hybrid implementation with workshops and introductions made online if needed. This programme is aimed at innovative European startups that already have a product market fit in the ASD sector. The District can rely directly on the Aerospace Valley cluster, which gathers a community of 850+ members in the southwest of France, including major corporates, SMEs, startups, universities, institutions and world-level laboratories. Aerospace Valley and District have close relationships and official partnerships signed with big names such as Airbus, Thales, Telespazio, CNES, ESA-BIC, IRT Saint Exupéry, and Kineis, among others.
