Softlanding acceleration programme – DISTRICT by Aerospace Valley
Aerospace Valley
Service ID:
EP76S1The Soft Landing Acceleration Programme by DISTRICT and Aerospace Valley offers a 6 to 24 month entry pathway for EIC Transition and EIC Accelerator Beneficiaries seeking to establish their presence in Toulouse and integrate into Europe’s leading aerospace and defence ecosystem. It is the first step for innovative companies to anchor themselves in the regional industrial and research environment and connect directly with major players across the Aeronautics, Space & Defence (ASD) sectors. Before admission, participants benefit from a free diagnostic to confirm programme fit and define an individual action plan. This plan identifies the most relevant acceleration modules, including product and solution development (access to laboratories, test centres, suppliers), partnership building, fundraising, internationalisation, and business modelling. Tailor made services can be added as needed with the support of Aerospace Valley experts. Participants gain access to DISTRICT’s co working facilities in Toulouse, offering a ready to use base for soft landing, with flexible desk options, dedicated staff, and direct links to a pool of ASD experts, corporates, and investors. Hybrid implementation (onsite/online) enables continuous engagement. Ideal for startups with product market fit in the ASD sector, the programme provides privileged access to Aerospace Valley’s 850+ members, including Airbus, Thales, CNES, ESA BIC, and IRT Saint Exupéry, ensuring a smooth, connected, and strategic entry into Europe’s aerospace capital.
€6000 per EIC beneficiary per year or €3000 Eur 6 months, plus €205 per desk per month if using the co-working space on a permanent basis.
This service does not include travel costs to or from Toulouse, nor does it cover accommodation. A detailed Terms & Conditions document will be provided to the beneficiary upon admission. The EIC beneficiary participants must be able to speak and write in English or French. The companies should be based in Europe, have an innovative problem-solution product or service related to the ASD sector and have a willing and able team dedicating most of their time to the startup. The EIC beneficiaries must show a will to create value and a win-win interaction with the regional ecosystem and to settle a subsidiary in the region in the near future. The full access to the Aerospace Valley co-working space is not included in the yearly €6,000 for the service. The price for the co-working space is €205/month/desk. However, EIC beneficiaries can benefit from a hot desk available for a few hours per week (upon availability).
