This service targets all EIC beneficiaries requiring legal advice. The service will be offered through 1-on-1 (video/telephone) conversations and per email exchange. AOMB will provide support across the entire breadth of IP law for example drafting of non-disclosure agreements, licences, cooperation agreements, technology transfer agreements, deeds of transfer, execution of due diligence for an acquisition, and consortium agreements. The implementation can be online, offline or hybrid. Typically, the duration of the service is largely depending on the extent of the legal issue at hand. Generally, the duration of the implementation of this service is about 8 – 20 hours for a minor legal question (e.g., check and advice on agreements) to few weeks or even few months for complex legal issues (e.g., licence agreements, execution of due diligence, advice in conflicts). If applicable, a digital report will be delivered to the EIC beneficiary (client) at the end of the service.
Costs largely depend on complexity of the legal issue at hand. Negotiable.
Acceptance of beneficiary as a client will be based on creditworthiness of the EIC beneficiary. Legal advice is based on the facts and circumstances presented in the case at hand. Although the advice provided by the legal specialists of AOMB is objectively formed and based on the facts and circumstances at hand it may still be that in the case of a dispute a national judge may decide differently compared to the legal advice given by AOMB’s attorneys.
