Service description

This service provides professional assistance with securing intellectual property rights for any EIC beneficiary seeking to enhance its IP position nationally and internationally. Qualified European Patent Attorneys of A.P.I. Conseil will prepare and submit patent applications (European, international, etc.) on the client's behalf. The service is implemented by digitally filing a patent application with the competent patent office, such as the European Patent Office (EPO) or the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO). The outcome comprises the resulting patent documentation which establishes the legal IP rights. Depending on the specific case (to be discussed), the European Patent Attorney can travel onsite for a continuous period (1-2 weeks) to complete the drafting process in one go. The typical service duration ranges from 20 to 60 hours per application, largely contingent on the complexity of the subject matter and client contributions. Service delivery modalities include online, in-person, or a hybrid approach. Upon conclusion, the approved application is submitted to the patent office while copies are furnished to the client.
