Artificial Intelligence Expert SRL

Romania

Service ID:

Service description

What it is: AIE provides expert advisory and mentoring that helps deep-tech health teams plan and de-risk the AI/ML dimension of their innovation. It is a knowledge-transfer service — not a data-processing engagement — drawing on 25+ years of biomedical AI experience.

Duration: Flexible - from a single 2-hour session to a multi-week engagement (typically 3–10 expert days).

Targets and sectors: EIC Pathfinder and Transition beneficiaries and Seal of Excellence holders in health, biotechnology, and digital health whose teams need to strengthen AI and data-strategy capabilities.

Goal: To upskill founders and technical teams on specific, high-stakes AI topics, and to establish a sound data and compliance strategy before major resources are committed.

Phases and activities:

  • (1) AI-readiness assessment of the team's data assets and intended use case;
  • (2) data strategy design (collection, harmonisation standards, analysis architecture);
  • (3) EU AI Act risk classification and compliance planning;
  • (4) regulatory documentation strategy for AI/ML Software as a Medical Device;
  • (5) guidance on selecting bioinformatics versus machine-learning approaches. Sessions are led by AIE's in-house senior scientists acting as mentors and instructors.

Expected outcome: A written assessment and an actionable roadmap the beneficiary's own team can execute, plus upskilled staff.

Implementation: Delivered online as structured mentoring sessions, each accompanied by a written deliverable.
