Service description

The Inova Cemig Lab programme seeks, through innovation, transformation and change, to overcome challenges and build an even more promising future for the Brazilian energy sector. We are the first open innovation programme with international reach, using R&D resources from Aneel, and we will invest up to 1.6 million reais in the participating startups. We're looking for people and startups who share our values and thus establish a lasting relationship, as the programme itself provides, with 18 months of monitoring and contracting of the solution generated. We have seven strategic themes to create solutions that add value to each of them. These themes are: Digitalization of the electricity sector; Energy storage; Cybersecurity; Artificial Intelligence, Virtual and Augmented Reality; Hydrogen; Electrification of the economy; Renewable energies, Environment and Climate change.
