Service description
A 12-month support to collaborate with a comprehensive set of R&D infrastructures, prototyping, or PoC schemes to contribute to making Brussels a Climate-Neutral and Smart city. EIC beneficiaries can have facilitated access to an innovation-friendly urban ecosystem to test and experiment with their groundbreaking solution(s). Collaborations with Infrastructures and support schemes can include: 1) Cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence technology facilities in the Brussels-Capital Region (which includes the European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) to test technology solutions and its market/societal applications; FARI, the ULB-VUB institute; 2) Photonhub infrastructure, a pan-European ATI Technology center to help SMEs and mid-caps to scale-up their business through faster and smarter deployment of photonics-based technologies; 3) A set of data infrastructures, platforms, Energy regulatory sandbox, and expertise to accelerate solution deployment in a real environment; 4/ Business and network facilitation for health tech solutions to demonstrate and pilot solutions, including the Centre for Medical Innovation In Hospitals and lighthouse project on prevention. This service is directed to all EIC beneficiaries and focuses on PoC, Demonstration, and Prototyping. Implementation starts with a free-of-charge initial assessment to design the best-suited collaboration. Duration of service ranges between several days to several weeks and is expected to last no longer than 12 months. It is preferably delivered offline.
