Service description
In research and innovation, great science is only half the story; the other half is the ability to communicate it clearly, convincingly, and with purpose. This service supports EIC beneficiaries in strengthening the visibility, credibility, and uptake of their innovations through targeted communication and dissemination activities. Delivered by an in-house team of experienced science communicators, the service translates complex scientific and technological outputs into clear, compelling, and strategically positioned messages and communication assets aligned with the beneficiary’s impact objectives. The goal is to support beneficiaries in effectively communicating and promoting their innovation, engaging key stakeholders, and supporting business acceleration. Activities delivered include branding development (logo, visual identity, and branded templates), creation or optimisation of project or company websites, development of TRL-aligned communication and dissemination strategies (including stakeholder mapping and key messaging), and production of science-based storytelling and dissemination assets such as pitch decks, infographics, illustrations, animations, factsheets, newsletters, and other visual and written content. The service also includes tailored science communication training workshops designed to equip beneficiaries with practical skills to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and engage diverse stakeholder groups. The service is delivered over a period of 12 to 20 weeks, depending on the scope and needs of the beneficiary. Expected outcomes include stakeholder-specific communication assets and a coherent communication and dissemination strategy that supports business acceleration and stakeholder engagement. Implementation is carried out online or in hybrid mode through collaborative sessions, workshops, and expert-led reviews.
