Research and Development Capacity Building
CERIC - Central European Research Infrastructure Consortium
Service ID:
EP114S3CERIC offers all EIC beneficiaries a service aimed at improving their capacity to solve research and development problems using state-of-the-art analysis and characterisation techniques. The service is designed in two phases, the second of which is optional. In the first phase, the beneficiaries present their R&D characterisation needs for CERIC’s international experts to analyse the needs and share their findings and conclusions on the potential use of certain analytical techniques to solve the request. The knowledge exchange takes place via videoconference, this part of the service will be free of charge. The second phase, at the request of the EIC beneficiaries, will consist of offering tailor-made training on specific state-of-the-art analytical techniques. The training of professionals will be designed through seminars, webinars, and/or workshops according to the specific needs of each EIC beneficiary and could have online and onsite formats to better accommodate their availability. The service is aimed at personnel working in the field of research, development, and innovation, in particular professionals involved in the development and characterisation of materials and devices and in the development of new products or new processes. The service provides EIC beneficiaries with valuable knowledge on how to better solve their needs related to their materials and product performance, thus improving and consolidating their innovation results. The cost of the services is free of charge for the first phase and full price for the second phase, calculated on the type of training and the full cost of support requested.
Requests will be handled as they arrive but for training and other onsite activities, applicants should take into account that the facilities will close for routine maintenance breaks according to operational schedules.
