Service description

This service covers all aspects of trademarks and other distinctive signs, including domain names, geographical indications, and designations of origin, and is designed for all EIC beneficiaries seeking protection of a distinctive sign. DT&P provides direct assistance with Italian, EU, and international trademarks, and ensures global coverage through a network of foreign correspondents.

The services include: I) Prior art searches using advanced tools and legal expertise to identify existing rights and assess trademark protectability. II) Risk analysis of legal issues related to trademark use and ongoing registration. III) Trademark application filing at national, EU, and international levels. IV) Trademark surveillance with real-time alerts, conflict analysis, and support for timely legal action. V) Trademark management and exploitation, including global strategies, portfolio reviews, licencing, transactions, and valuations. VI) Renewal and expiry management, with monitoring, alerts, and full process handling. VII) Brand protection and enforcement through oppositions, cancellation actions, cease-and-desist letters, injunctions, and litigation.
