The Test Before Invest service is designed to support startups, SMEs, and innovators in validating digital solutions before large-scale investment. This service provides access to state-of-the-art technological infrastructure, enabling users to test and refine their innovations in a risk-free environment. The service is structured into three key phases: 1) Needs Assessment and Technology Matching: In the initial phase, experts assess the technical requirements and business goals of the user. Based on this analysis, the most suitable technologies are recommended. Available technologies include: Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for predictive analytics and automation, IoT and Sensor Networks for smart monitoring and data collection, Extended Reality (AR/VR) for immersive user experiences and training simulations, Cybersecurity Solutions for data protection and compliance testing. 2) Testing and Validation: In this phase, users gain access to cutting-edge testbeds and simulation environments. They can prototype, test, and optimise their solutions under real-world conditions. Expert mentors, including in-house and external industry specialists, provide guidance on performance evaluation, usability testing, and security assessment. 3) Feedback and Iteration: Following the testing, users receive detailed feedback reports, including technical performance metrics and user experience insights. This phase supports iterative development and fine-tuning of the solution to maximise market readiness. The programme is offered on a rolling basis with hybrid implementation (online and onsite testing). It is targeted at startups, SMEs, and enterprises in sectors such as HealthTech, Smart Cities, Manufacturing, and AgriTech. The expected outcome is a validated, market-ready solution with minimised investment risks.
