An ongoing market advisory for fundraising service targeting EIC Transition and Accelerator beneficiaries. This service aims to provide guided support to EIC beneficiaries for access to the EIB Venture Debt system. The service offer will provide EIC beneficiaries with access to timely feedback and consultations on EIB’s products and eligibility requirements (feedback on eligibility and potential gaps). Flexible ‘’dry run’’ meetings upon request will also be held with each EIC beneficiary to offer advice on content preparation for a successful pitch deck to the financial advisory services of EIB. Following up, a pitching session with the EIB will be organised. In case of a successful pitching session, a Letter of reference for investors issued by EIT Urban mobility. The EIC Partner will support the beneficiaries with identifying gaps in achieving EIB’s eligibility criteria (quarterly progress meetings for the duration of 1 year) and negotiations process between the startup and EIB (review of documentation). EIC beneficiaries benefiting from this service should be specialised in the relevant domains of the EIT Urban Mobility, e.g., transportation, mobility, urban sustainability, environment, etc. The service will be conducted online or in a hybrid format.
Upon successful completion of negotiations with EIB, a separate service contract will be signed between the company and EIT Urban mobility with 2% of success fees to be awarded to EIT Urban mobility from the final loan volume of the loan awarded by EIB following the instalment schedule of EIB. A signature of this follow-up contract is obligatory in case the company succeeds to obtain the EIB loan. The fixed fees for a successful pitching session with EIB is €4000.
EIT Urban Mobility offers advisory services for access to EIB Venture Debt. EIT Urban mobility is not liable for any loss of business, loss of time, loss of profit, loss of goodwill or any other indirect loss for the decisions made by the Startup following the provision of service, except in the case of wilful misconduct or gross negligence in the performance of his duties.
