The service is designed for companies developing complex hardware, software, or AI-enabled products that need to accelerate development while reducing technical and execution risks.

E3 supports the entire innovation lifecycle, from product strategy and technology roadmap definition to system architecture, engineering governance, product development, and industrialization. Typical engagements include technology and product assessments, systems engineering and requirements management, AI adoption strategy, software-defined product development, engineering process optimization, regulatory readiness, supplier and technology selection, and technical due diligence.

The methodology draws on more than 15 years of experience delivering complex engineering and digital transformation programs for global industrial organizations, while being tailored to the agility and resource constraints of startups and scale-ups. Rather than providing generic consulting, E3 delivers practical, execution-oriented guidance that enables founders and engineering teams to make better technical decisions, improve development efficiency, and prepare for investment, pilots, certification, and commercial scaling.

Financial requirements

The service is provided on a commercial basis. Pricing depends on the scope and expertise required, with consulting rates typically ranging from €800 to €1,200 per day for senior engineering, systems engineering, AI, and technology strategy services. Fixed-price engagements can also be agreed based on clearly defined deliverables. For EIC beneficiaries, Embedia offers a minimum 20% discount on standard daily rates for the first engagement, subject to the scope and duration of the assignment.
