An ongoing service for development and networking targeting all EIC beneficiaries. Active work in biomedical companies/innovation projects concerning gender equality and norm-critical perspectives can contribute to more innovative and creative work processes. These processes can lead to the discovery of new market- target groups and, not least, they can lead to the production of new medical technology and services. With a more inclusive approach, these innovations will to a greater extent be better adapted to the relevant target groups and can thus more successfully meet the needs of both healthcare professionals as well as patients and the wider public. In the long run, an increased awareness of gender equality and diversity, and a norm-critical approach, will provide companies with competitive advantages. This fits very well into the Europe “Agenda 2030” goals. The service is provided as an introduction seminar over 1 hour “Introduction to Inclusive Innovation”, where an overview on the topic will be presented followed by a Q/A. Materials provided is the Handbook on Including Innovation (available in Swedish and English). The training on the material is conducted as a roundtable discussion over 2 hours. It can accommodate up to 10 participants per occasion and a minimum of 4.
