Service description

Euro-BioImaging ERIC, as the European Research Infrastructure for biological and biomedical imaging, offers comprehensive imaging and image data services tailored for EIC beneficiaries to accelerate R&D. This service enables companies to leverage world-class imaging facilities and know-how to enhance competitiveness and innovation capacity. We offer access to more than 120 cutting-edge imaging technologies across all scales from atomic resolution to imaging of whole organisms including humans. Examples include light microscopy (e.g., super-resolution, light-sheet);electron microscopy (e.g., cryo-ET, volumeEM);and medical imaging (e.g., MRI, PET, CT) for preclinical and clinical applications. Details of available technologies available on our website. Our services are tailored to the beneficiary’s RDI activities and can include access to instruments, assay development, sample preparation, access to wet labs, cell culture and animal facilities, probe synthesis, access to data sets, and image analysis service. Services include support from experts at the facilities for the whole project pipeline. On a case-by-case basis, services may also be provided as a full-service package with facility staff performing the imaging project for the beneficiary and delivering final datasets.

Examples of specific services include, but are not limited to: High-throughput microscopy for large-scale screening projects Correlative light and electron microscopy for multi-scale imaging Advanced fluorescence techniques (FRAP, FRET, FCS) for molecular dynamics studies Intravital microscopy for in vivo imaging Tracer synthesis and PET imaging for nuclear medicine Plant Phenotyping Mass-Spectrometry based Imaging Spatial Transcriptomics Duration and pricing of the service vary depending on beneficiaries’ specific service requirements.
