Service description
An ongoing support desk service for IP issues is available to all EIC beneficiaries. The service is established by the European Commission to assist growing businesses and beneficiaries of EU funding to acquire knowledge and expertise in the field of intellectual property with ease, especially in the context of EU-funded projects. The Helpline provides free-of-charge, first-line support on IP issues related to cross-border business activities within Europe or IP questions specifically linked to EU-funded research and innovation projects. The team of experienced legal specialists provides straightforward, high-quality, and user-friendly intellectual property assistance within three working days. The team assists researchers and SMEs participating in EU-funded research projects with their individual IP questions. All inquiries are handled in strict confidence and in full compliance with EU Regulations 2016/679 and 2018/1725 on the protection of personal data. The European Helpdesk Helpline is available to all EIC beneficiaries for personal support on a specific IP issue and to receive information on the latest developments in the world of European IP and Innovation.
