Letter of Intent and Non-Disclosure Agreement

Falko AS

Norway

Service ID:

Service description
Once an investor has expressed interest in pursuing a possible transaction, the process of drafting a Letter of Intent (LoI) or Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) starts. Once the LoI is signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement will be drafted and signed. In this process, the company should be aware of certain issues that may have an effect on the final results. Many companies like to have legal professionals involved in this process. Falko AS can, in a more cost-efficient way, assist the company in the preparation of an LoI, or assist in the assessment of the first draft if prepared by the investor. Working out the best possible LoI will help the company end up with a better final agreement and thus ensure the shareholders an arrangement that will serve their interests in the best possible way and bring the company forward. Depending on the situation this service may take between 10 and 20 hours. When concluded the company should be well positioned to enter into the final negotiations that will end up with the best possible deal.
