EP215S1This service aims to introduce startups to Intellectual Property assets as a fundamental issue that allows rapid evolution of projects, and is a reflection of the project impact and validation and how to reach it. This service will unfold in different phases: Phase 1: 1-hour webminar on the importance of IP and types of documents and protection required depending on the project status. Phase 2: IP assets that is delivered in 2 weeks, with a maximum dedication of 64 hours. EIC beneficiaries will summarise their needs regarding IP landscaping evaluation and interest of the partners about patentability of the results and their future exploitation strategy.
This will inclide, a) 1st meeting to identify key information about the project, to introduce the basic concepts of IP adapted to its field of innovation or technology. b) Initial analysis of the project. c) Identify strengths and weaknesses of the project results. and e) Deliverable: Preliminary IP landscape. Phase 3: Defining an IP Strategy. Specific consultancy will be delivered to help EIC beneficiaries to develop and deploy their IP strategy, including: FTO analysis, IPR Surveillance, Reviewing, and refining the company’s IPR strategy, and developing the IPR evaluation and FTO analysis report.
Phase 1: 1-hour webinar: free of charge
Phase 2: 2500€-5000€ (depending on the number of assets)
Phase 3: To be agreed depending on the status of the project, asset to be protected and dedication required. Reduced daily rate for EIC beneficiaries: 450€
At the beginning of each phase, FEUGA and EIC beneficiaries will agree on the timeline for the service, deliverables and budget.
