Service description

This service has the following phases:

- Phase 1: Planning engagement: GBI will research and virtually present the long list of recommendations to EIC innovators along with a brief background of the organisations and the regions/locations where they are located. Based on the feedback received, GBI will shortlist and prioritise the stakeholders.
- Phase 2: Engagement: GBI will work with the EIC innovators to develop relevant communication materials to be sent to the stakeholders, with the objectives of the pilot project as well as outline the benefits of adopting the project. GBI will have initial virtual conversations with the relevant stakeholders within these organisations and shortlist the most appropriate for the pilot project. GBI will also engage with the shortlisted stakeholders to evaluate the proposed locations for the pilot site.
- Phase 3: Collaborative project scoping: GBI will coordinate and facilitate project team meetings consisting of representatives from EIC Innovators. GBI will support with defining and developing a project scoping document to outline the scope of work, roles and responsibilities of the project team, timelines, technical requirements, regulatory clearances for outside suppliers/vendors (if needed), risk assessment and the budget.
- Phase 4: Project set-up: GBI will identify and propose any additional suppliers/vendors/subcontractors required to set up, operate and maintain any technical equipment. GBI will coordinate with the identified vendors/subcontractor and monitor the installation of the project and the integration in collaboration with the Indian partner. GBI will provide a detailed pilot set-up report outlining all actions taken to deliver the pilot project.
- Phase 5: Collaborative project monitoring (6 months): Once the project has been set up, GBI will visit the project site once a month depending on the requirement and based on discussions with stakeholders, and report back on the status. GBI will provide a monthly report that will include the identification of any potential issues or risks and proposed solutions to mitigate them, progress of the project as per the timelines defined and reporting of any deviations.
- Phase 6: Collaborative project closure: GBI will work with the EIC Innovators to ensure the closure of all project actions and administrative requirements. GBI will coordinate with the EIC Innovator and the external vendors to uninstall any software, hardware or monitoring equipment if necessary. GBI will produce a final report that includes as a minimum: the pilot objectives and milestones, risk assessment summary, pilot impacts, project challenges, lessons learnt and next steps. GBI will also provide recommendations for technology or business model localisations and a roadmap to scale the deployment of the solution.
