GBI has developed the Technology Management Interface (TMI) process, platform, network and service to help EU innovators in new markets and also enabled the concept of a “Innovator Internationalisation Helpdesk” which acts like an EU innovator’s local team and guide in the target market helping them navigate opportunities, from understanding the market for their specific innovation to identifying customers, partners, investors, to participating in trade shows or facilitating their first pilot with local industry or research and university actors. The service has been designed to support market research and entry within a 6-month timeline. Services can be customised based on needs and include: 

1) Market Research, Capacity Building, Mentorship, Customer/Partner Identification, SWOT/Competitor Analysis.

2) Virtual meetings with potential partners/stakeholders in target market.

3) Due Diligence reports on prospective partners and clients.

4) Physical meetings with potential partners and customers.

5) Technology Indigenization (bill of materials, supply chain, pricing analysis).

6) Business analytics & strategy; Business Model Development / Technology demonstration and pilot project facilitation and technical support / Government Liaison / Participation in Trade show support.

Financial requirements

This service cost is €20,000 – €30,000 (Twenty - Thirty Thousand Euros depending on scope of work). The general timeline is 6 months and the deliverables include market research and validation report, virtual and physical meetings organised with interested potential partners/customers/investors/distributors, due diligence report of local partners, follow up support to enter into business agreement in target market, local business model and strategy development or facilitating pilot project in target market.
