An ongoing consultation service targeting all EIC beneficiaries. This service offers free consultancy and advisory sessions to EIC beneficiaries interested in taking their first steps toward the US market, with the objective of fundraising and/or commercialisation of their products or services in North America. Through this service, EIC beneficiaries will get one-to-one online sessions with Great Product Ventures experts to mentor and conduct preliminary commercial partner identification. The primary destination is the US market, however, the scope can be expanded to the rest of North America, including Canada and Mexico. Through this service, EIC beneficiaries will be given access to Great Product Ventures’ vast know-how and competencies related to the creation of a legal entity in the US: where, how, costs and timing, fundraising activity. Additionally, they will also get advice on how to benefit from US higher valuations and larger venture capital availability, to grow and scale up a business more rapidly, and perform regulatory work (i.e., UL, PTCRB, FDA approval). Great Product Ventures can provide a preliminary opinion on regulatory strategies for achieving product approvals as quickly and cost-effectively as possible. Moreover, this service includes advice on company IP portfolio, Business Development, Sales & Distribution, an overview of US distribution dynamics, and advice on possible commercialisation strategies. Although the service is designed for all Technology Readiness Levels, EIC beneficiaries with TRL 4+ would benefit the most from the activities. The service can be performed remotely or in person since a part of the Great Product team is based in Europe and also the US team comes to Europe on a regular basis. The duration of the service is dependent on the needs of the EIC benficiaries but can range from 3-12 months. This service is targeted towards solutions in the MedTech, Greentech, Mobile, IoT, or Consumer Products industries.
