Advisory Board and international stakeholder ecosystem development
IA (Instituto de Asesores SL)
Service ID:
EP330S2This tailored service supports innovation teams in designing and activating an effective advisory board and a relevant international ecosystem around their project. Delivered by IA’s in-house experts in governance, stakeholder engagement, and innovation ecosystems, with the help of IA’s internal data analytics tools and vast contact database in Europe and the US, the service typically spans 8 to 12 weeks. It targets innovators from research groups preparing to spin off a company and entrepreneurs in the early stages of developing their solutions across all sectors. The goal is to provide a clear advisory governance model and a concrete engagement plan with key stakeholders, aligned with the project strategy and maturity. The service is structured in four phases: (1) strategic diagnosis, potential board members identification and mapping, (2) advisory board set up and stakeholder ecosystem design, (3) stakeholder approach and engagement, (4) activation and consolidation plan. Activities include analyzing needs and gaps, profiling advisory roles, identifying and prioritizing international stakeholders, defining value propositions for advisers and partners, and preparing governance documents and engagement materials. Expected outcomes include a proposed advisory board composition, a stakeholder portfolio, and a practical 12–18 month engagement roadmap. Implementation combines online group sessions, bilateral mentoring, and iterative document review, culminating in a final validation workshop with tailored recommendations.
