Service description

At Ignite Sweden, we are dedicated to forging powerful connections between innovative startups and leading figures in the Corporate and Public Sectors. Our tailor-made matchmaking sessions are designed to catalyse transformative partnerships that drive forward the frontiers of innovation. Our process is as follows:

1. Needs Assessment Workshop: Each journey begins with a three-hour in-depth workshop. Here, we delve into the operational methodologies of our Corporate and Public Sector partners, clarify their innovation needs, and set the stage for impactful collaborations with startups.
2. Scouting and Selection: Leveraging our deep industry insights, we identify and curate a list of startups whose innovations align with the specific requirements of our partners. This list is refined through collaborative discussions, ensuring a perfect match for the introductory meetings.
3. Preparation for Success: Selected startups are thoroughly briefed about their potential partners and the specifics of the upcoming meeting. We also provide exclusive sales training to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
4. Full-Spectrum Facilitation: From the initial onboarding to the support required for a potential proof of concept (PoC), Ignite Sweden manages every aspect of the matchmaking process. Our focus on specific markets or themes allows us to form tailored cohorts of 5-7 startups per corporate, maximising personal attention and opportunity.
5. Beyond the Matchmaking: Our commitment extends beyond the initial meeting. We provide continuous support and follow-up to ensure these initial connections mature into enduring and fruitful partnerships.

Financial requirements

Participation for Swedish startups is sponsored by Vinnova and hence, there is no cost. Dedicated EIC Matchmakings, or Matchmakings with other partners where we work with startups outside of Sweden require external funding which can range from €50,000 to €125,000 depending on size and scope.

Disclaimer related to service

We can never guarantee a match for a startup as we work with a needs-based methodology. We always aim to find the right startup that will lead to a POC, meaning startups are free to apply, but are not immediately accepted. Projects take 4-6 months from concept to execution. Swedish startups are free to register any time at our website.
