This service is a short, high-intensity individualised acceleration sprint designed for EIC Accelerator beneficiaries and Seal of Excellence holders developing defence-relevant or dual-use technologies who seek to structure a credible pathway toward defence or institutional market adoption. The service starts with an individual diagnostic assessing the technological maturity, dual-use potential, operational relevance and defence market readiness of the innovation. Particular attention is given to alignment with defence end-user needs, operational constraints, credibility requirements and procurement logic. Based on this assessment, beneficiaries receive tailored coaching sessions focusing on defence use-case formulation, value proposition adaptation, positioning versus existing solutions and identification of priority defence stakeholders such as ministries of defence, defence innovation units, system integrators or industrial primes. The service also addresses defence-specific challenges including validation and demonstration pathways, adoption timelines and ecosystem navigation. Where relevant, beneficiaries are oriented toward appropriate European or NATO-level defence innovation frameworks. At the end of the service, beneficiaries obtain a clear and actionable defence or dual-use market entry roadmap, including prioritised target users, validation steps and recommendations for further acceleration or engagement. The service is delivered by experienced defence innovation coaches and domain experts with direct exposure to European and NATO defence innovation programmes.
