A standalone expert advisory in-person or remote session for a one-off engagement in which a startup founder or core team meets with a seasoned expert, acting as a coach or instructor, to address a specific, critical business challenge. This service is delivered by either in-house experts or coaches, mentors, or instructors in the network, possessing extensive startup experience, and is designed with accessibility and flexibility in mind for early- to mid-stage startups, operating in sectors such as technology, digital services, energy, environment, food, health and medical care. The session typically lasts between 90 minutes and 2 hours and follows a “double diamond” methodology. It begins with an initial consultation phase, during which the expert reviews the startup’s background, current challenges, and objectives. This phase ensures that the advisory session is tailored to the unique needs of the startup. Next, the session transitions into an interactive advisory phase where the expert provides focused, strategic insights and practical recommendations to refine the business model, optimise operations, or resolve specific market entry challenges. The final phase concludes with the formulation of an actionable plan, featuring clearly defined next steps and measurable outcomes to drive immediate improvements.
