Service description

This service supports deeptech startups from TRL 3 to TRL 7 in advancing their technology towards industrial readiness and market alignment. It is particularly relevant to companies developing breakthrough innovations in need of technical validation, industrialisation planning, and ecosystem integration. The service spans approximately 8 to 12 weeks and is delivered by in-house experts, complemented by a network of scientific, technical, and industrial partners. The process begins with a structured diagnostic to assess the Technology Readiness Level, define critical development milestones, and identify strategic gaps in IP, technical robustness, and market relevance. Three expert sessions are included: 1. Evaluate the startup’s technical differentiation and intellectual property strategy; 2.Assess the market fit of the technology through potential use cases, customer needs, and industry expectations. 3. Recommend next steps to secure a competitive edge. Following these three sessions and the identified gaps, BLUMORPHO is setting up an action plan to identify the necessary research and industrial partners Blumorpho to access to: Qualified R&D and industrial partners across Europe for prototyping, testing, and scale-up; and tailored introductions to research institutions for collaborative development. When needed, actions can be carried out under confidentiality agreements to protect innovation programmes. The expected outcome is a validated development roadmap, identification of relevant technical and industrial partners, and improved strategic alignment to accelerate time-to-market. The service is implemented through online and in-person sessions, expert panels, and facilitated matchmaking with R&D and industrial ecosystems.

The scope, duration, and delivery method of this service may be adjusted depending on the specific needs and maturity level of the beneficiary. All activities requiring confidentiality will be conducted under appropriate non-disclosure agreements (NDAs). The service does not include proposal writing or active support for applications to European funding instruments. Blumorpho reserves the right to adapt the expert panel composition and partner engagement process based on technology domain, market focus, and availability of relevant stakeholders.
