Service description

This service offers individualised and personalised consultancy in different formats and levels, to different profiles, for IP protection and exploitation strategies of the results of the projects, as well as other value-added services related to know-how. ClarkeModet has a wide experience in specific consultancy projects with all size of companies, universities, technology institutes, innovation projects and startups or individual entrepreneurs. This service is based on specialised consultancy to develop the following services: 1) Advanced IP management and exploitation strategy development: ClarkeModet has developed a specific methodology for European projects that combines exploitation and IP protection. The idea is to identify results with high potential exploitation, develop business models and technology transfer to market roadmap. At the same time, these results will be protected with the most suitable IP protection figure and a preliminary Freedom-to-operation analysis to assure that they can be exploited. 2) Due diligence: exhaustive analysis of all the intangible assets of the participant organisation (know-how, patents, trademarks…) to define an IP roadmap to improve protection and value of the entity. 3) Technology analysis and surveillance: detailed state of the art or benchmarking analysis through patent private and public databases, scientific articles databases and market reports. 4) IP and know-how protection: specialised consultancy to define the most suitable IP protection strategy of intangible assets and know-how, considering the different IP existing figures. 5) Technology transfer to market: Definition and development of a roadmap to reach a market for a project result, considering all possibilities: sale, all kinds of licensing, spin-offs… This includes the economic valuation of intangible assets and all steps involved in the process, technical and legal. 6) Training sessions and individualised coaching services on IP consultancy and legal framework for any industry and technological sector.

The costs may vary depending on project scope and context.
