
This service provides EIC beneficiaries access to a part-time CFO who acts as a strategic financial partner. The CFO supports budgeting, scenario planning, investor relations, and board reporting. Backed by F.INSTITUTE’s full team and technology stack, the service ensures continuity and sector-specific expertise. The CFO integrates sector insights and business knowledge to develop and execute effective financial strategies that ensure long-term success. Typical use cases include: Fundraising preparation and investor engagement, Scenario analysis and forward-looking financials, Implementation of SAR/option pools and benefit programs, M&A readiness and financial due diligence, Strategic planning and milestone-based budgeting The key activities of the service are: Budgeting and forecasting, Financial performance reviews, Investor communications and board meeting preparation, Risk management and scenario modelling, and Cap table management and return waterfall analysis. The expected outcomes of the service are: Improved financial governance, investor confidence, and strategic decision-making.
- Monthly fee: €3,000 - €6,000 ex VAT, depending on the intensity of the anticipated workload of the CFO. The price will be set before engagement.
- Minimum engagement: 6 months
