International deployment: supply chains localization, pilot projects, POCs

Service description

GBI assists companies in establishing local supply chains, and / or pilot projects or in India and Eastern Europe (Bulgaria) by providing end-to-end support, including vendor / partner identification, site selection, regulatory compliance and supply chain integration.

1. Strategic Alignment, Local Partner / Vendor Identification & Assessment

● Understand EIC innovator’s technology deployment objectives (supply chain localisation, pilot project, PoC).
● Research and provide a longlist of recommended partners / vendors with background details and geographic locations.
● Conduct Partners / vendor shortlisting and due diligence including: certifications, production capacity, scalability financial & legal due diligence
● Prioritise partners / vendors based on EIC innovator’s feedback.
● Facilitate introductory and follow-up meetings with prospective local partners / vendors.
● Manage RFQs and present shortlisted vendors for the EIC innovator’s final selection and contracting.
● Support the EIC innovator in finalising the partners / vendors for execution.

2. Project Scoping & Set-up

● Coordinate joint meetings between EIC innovator and selected local partners / vendors.
● Evaluate and finalise parameters of pilot / manufacturing options.
● Support with NDA facilitation and technical documentation finalization.
● Develop a comprehensive project scoping document outlining:

Scope of work
Roles and responsibilities
Timelines and key milestones

3. Project Monitoring & Completion

● Monitor implementation against agreed timelines and KPIs.
● Produce periodic reports based on the reporting schedule, covering progress, risks, mitigation measures and deviations.
● Deliver a final project report summarising:

a. Pilot objectives and milestones
b. Risk assessment summary
c. Impact and outcomes
d. Lessons learned
e. Recommendations and next steps
