Service description

GBI has been supporting European innovators, start-ups and SMEs to access international market opportunities globally for over a decade. The service has been designed to support market research and entry within a 6 month timeline. GBI has developed the Technology Management Interface (TMI) process, platform, network and service to help EU innovators in new markets and help guide them in the target market helping them navigate opportunities, from understanding the market for their specific innovation to identifying customers, partners, investors, and/or research collaborations.

Services can be customised based on needs and can include:

Global market assessment – Mentoring to identify the right target market (India, USA, Eastern Europe, UK, Brazil, SE Asia, Africa)
IP management support
Secondary and Primary market research, SWOT, PESTEL, competitor analysis;
Partner Identification: Virtual/Physical meetings with potential partners, customers, stakeholders in targeted markets;
Conduct due diligence on prospective partners and clients
New Market Deployment Support - facilitate up to two rounds of follow-up meetings with stakeholders for establishing pilot projects, commercial and/or research agreements in the new markets.

Depending on the services chosen above, the deliverables would include market research and validation report, virtual and physical meetings organised with interested potential partners/customers/distributors, due diligence report of local partners, follow up support to enter into business agreement in target market, tech localisation and manufacturing, local business model and strategy development for facilitating pilot projects and business in target market.

Financial requirements

This service cost ranges from €20,000 – €30,000 depending on the scope of work. The general timeline is 6 months.
