
This service supports startups and SMEs in measuring, projecting and communicating the environmental impact of their innovations across three dimensions: Avoided GHG Emissions, Adaptation and Resilience, and Circularity. The service is modular and can be tailored to the specific needs of the EIC beneficiary. The service is typically delivered over 4–6 weeks and the main target audience are Startups, SMEs, and innovation support programmes in the climate and sustainability sectors. The key goal of the service is to equip innovators with credible, data-driven insights to demonstrate environmental impact to investors, funders, and stakeholders. The service has the following phases and activities: i) Scoping and Onboarding: Define the product/service and select the relevant impact dimension(s). ii) Data Collection and Analysis: Gather qualitative and quantitative data through structured templates and interviews. iii) Expert Review: In-house and third-party experts (including LCA specialists and climate resilience advisors) validate findings. iv) Impact Reporting: Delivery of a tailored impact validation report with KPIs, narratives, and strategic insights. The tangible outcome of this service is a third-party validated impact report that enhances credibility and supports fundraising, partnership development, and strategic planning. The service can be delivered remotely through digital tools, expert consultations, and structured templates. Optional follow-up sessions are available for deeper insights.
€2000 per assessed product and impact dimension.
A minimum of two weeks is needed to ensure adequate planning and contracting before the service can be implemented.
