This exploratory service is designed to help EIC beneficiaries evaluate the viability of entering the Indian market. It supports companies to gain strategic insights and validate key assumptions through tailored market research and one-to-one expert engagement. The service is suitable for innovative SMEs that are considering India as a potential growth market but require structured, evidence led discovery work before proceeding to active market entry. The goal of the service is to help EIC beneficiaries answer the question “why India, and why now?” using market evidence and structured expert input. Services are delivered by in-house market experts through a combination of online sessions and desk-based research. The service begins with an Internationalisation Clinic to assess the EIC beneficiary’s objectives, innovation maturity, and readiness for international expansion. This is followed by a more comprehensive workshop and a research phase that combines desk-based analysis with optional stakeholder engagement, depending on client needs and the available budget. The main deliverable is a customised market report and PowerBI dashboard. This will include insights on market size and growth rate, target market segmentation, demand conditions, distribution and sales channel mapping, and a detailed SWOT analysis of the Indian market based on the client’s technology and business rationale. The report will also provide strategic recommendations for product positioning, pricing, branding, and a roadmap for next steps in the Indian market. The duration of the Discovery Phase is typically 5-6 weeks. It can be offered as a standalone service or as the first stage in a broader India expansion programme.
€300/day.
The duration and total cost of the engagement will be agreed in advance with each client, ensuring transparency and alignment with their specific requirements.
