Training on How to Prepare to Attract Equity from Financial Investors

2-day training directed to EIC Accelerator beneficiaries allowing them to get a general understanding of the principles behind the capital raising process and the negotiation process with investors; these are critical skills for the development of a company. On day 1, the first part will be dedicated to discussions on categories of financial investors and financial investors mindset and expectations; in the afternoon, participants will hear from the capital raising expert about fundamentals of business plan preparation, as well as about valuation principles and factors that influence the value of a company. Day 2 will start with guidelines on preparation of an appealing pitch deck, while the second part of the day will be dedicated to practical approach of investors, covering topics such as common transaction structures, road from initial discussions to closing and sensitive terms to be negotiated with investors. Each session will be followed by a Q&A period. The trainings will be held via Zoom or a similar platform, in English language.

This training will have two editions in 2023: 29-30/09/2023 and 15-16/12/2023.

This training will have three editions in 2024: 29-30/03/2024, 28-29/06/2024 and 13-14/12/2024.
