PTCS Advogados offers an individualised advisory service directed to EIC Pathfinder, EIC Transition, and EIC Accelerator beneficiaries seeking to develop or strengthen their intellectual property strategy, technology commercialisation approach, and contractual foundations. The service is sector-agnostic and particularly suited to deep-tech innovators at early-to-mid commercialisation stages across AI, medtech, cleantech, and advanced manufacturing. The service runs over four to six weeks and is delivered by senior IP lawyers with expertise in technology licensing, spin-off structuring, and international IP strategy The service is structured in three phases. The first phase consists of an IP audit and strategic positioning exercise, mapping the beneficiary's existing and protectable IP assets against their business model, competitive landscape, and target markets. The second phase comprises advisory sessions focused on IP protection choices, including patent strategy, trade secret management, and open-source policy, as well as commercialisation models and licensing structures. The third (optional) phase covers the drafting of tailored contract templates to support the beneficiary's commercialisation activities, which may include technology licensing agreements, IP assignment agreements, co-development agreements, confidentiality agreements, and SaaS or software terms of service, adapted to the beneficiary's specific sector and jurisdiction. At the end of the service, beneficiaries will have a coherent IP strategy, a practical commercialisation roadmap, and a set of investor-ready contractual instruments. Delivered in English, online or hybrid.
Hourly fees between €250 and €500 + VAT (if applicable) and excluding expenses and costs. Fixed fees may be available depending on the scope of the work.
