Service description

A unique six-month plus acceleration programme directed toward EIC Pathfinder, EIC Transition and EIC Accelerator beneficiaries from the Space sector. This service consists in the first industrial acceleration programme worldwide at the Space Business Catalyst by Thales Alenia Space, involving its complete ecosystem. This programme offers a unique mix of resources and expertise to foster rapid industrial development with a key player in the space sector. The programme lasts six months and is renewable, requiring visits to Thales Alenia Space premises of Toulouse, France and Turin, Italy, with in-house coaches and mentors dedicated to each startup.

EIC beneficiaries, along with other space startups and Thales Alenia Space intrapreneurial projects, gain access to in-house technical experts for privileged exchanges and reviews, as well as in-house cutting-edge prototyping facilities. Thales Alenia Space commercial network also helps EIC beneficiaries with invaluable go-to-market to develop business together while Thales Alenia Space provides outreach to its ecosystem including institutions and investors to boost EIC beneficiaries' journey. EIC beneficiaries then benefit from preferred conditions for the use of industrial means as per the complementing EIC service. Eventually, the programme offers the possibility of funded projects, but also forming partnerships including investment from Thales Corporate Ventures. Customized work plans to pave the journey are defined between the startup and Thales Alenia Space at the beginning, to maximise output for everybody. Free of charge for startups except expenses of stay in Toulouse or Turin and use of industrial means (see below).
