The Circular Economy Lab is a half-day workshop tailored for EIC Accelerator beneficiaries seeking to integrate circular economy principles into their products, services, or business models. This service is suited for startups across sectors aiming to transition away from linear production systems and embrace regenerative practices. The workshop introduces participants to the foundations of the circular economy and explores actionable strategies using the 10R framework (e.g., Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). Through a Design Thinking methodology, startups engage in brainstorming sessions and creativity exercises to identify practical applications for circularity in their business. Participants will also gain insights into tools like Lifecycle Assessment and Digital Product Passport, which support sustainable product design and enhance transparency across value chains. Beyond the workshop, startups can collaborate with valantic experts for deeper dives into lifecycle analysis, circular product development, and implementation strategies. This service empowers startups to design innovative products and services that meet market demands while contributing to a regenerative economy. Deliverables:
• Introduction to circular economy principles and the 10R framework.
• Creative brainstorming and Design Thinking activities.
• Practical insights into Lifecycle Assessment and Digital Product Passport tools.
• Customized strategies for embedding circularity into products or services.
• Strategic roadmap for circular economy integration.

Implementation: Delivered in-person or virtually by in-house circular economy advisors and design thinking facilitators.

A minimum of two weeks is needed to ensure adequate planning and contracting before the service can be implemented.
