Service description

Startups are at different stages of development. Some are just starting out and need support in formulating their unique selling proposition or in describing their product-market-fit. They may also have questions concerning IP or regulatory aspects. Others are developing their business model, preparing their business plan or searching for investors and partners. This programme offers a modular approach to support startups at different stages in tackling their current business and strategic challenges.

It is directed at companies in sectors such as medtech, pharma, biotech and healthcare. The programme is delivered by seasoned professionals from VDI/VDE-IT with deep expertise in life sciences. The programme is structured into two key modules:

1) Needs Assessment Phase: The startup first completes a pre-assessment intake via a structured questionnaire, followed by a pitch deck and financial model audit. In-house experts then run a concise gap analysis to pinpoint priority improvement areas.

2) Coaching Phase: This phase implements a personalised support roadmap via tailor-made half-day coaching sessions, including: product-market fit analysis; initial support in IP strategy and regulatory requirements; business plan development; investor readiness; market entry and access to research programmes.

Financial requirements

With costs of €480 per half-day coaching session.

Example Phase 1 (Needs Assessment): 1.0 Day (2 modules) = €960 (Includes full pitch deck and financial audit).
Example Phase 2 (Targeted Coaching): 0.5 Day (1 module) = €480 (e.g., dedicated session on German Regulatory Requirements).
Example Full Support Package: 3.0 Days (6 modules) = €2,880 (Comprehensive roadmap implementation).
