Service description

The Catalyst programmes are thematic cohort research commercialisation programmes that aim to accelerate academic or research teams towards commercial outcomes. Your research community already holds world-changing ideas â€” but without the right support, many never leave the lab. Catalyst bridges that gap. Designed for funders, universities and research organisations, Catalyst programmes empower researchers to translate discovery into real-world solutions. Zinc combines venture-building expertise, coaching and ecosystem connections to help you generate commercial pipelines, build entrepreneurial capability, and demonstrate tangible return on research investment. Each programme focuses on a defined mission area, bringing together diverse experts, providing funding and hands-on support. Catalysts build the skills, networks, and momentum needed to move ideas from the lab to real-world impact.

Note this is a programme free to participants, but funded by innovation funders.
