1-3-month support service directed to all EIC beneficiaries which are part of the energy system value chain. The service may cover one or several of the following activities:
1) Assessment of the energetic potential of available renewable energy sources (including wind and solar) and adequacy and viability of different technologies to harness the available resources;
2) Due diligence for technological solutions;
3) High resolution energy system planning at different levels, accounting for social, environmental and technical impacts of energy resources (holistic and integrated modelling of energy systems at multiple scales);
4) Assessment of climate change impacts on the energy system (e.g. buildings, networks, demand & supply; heating & cooling needs); infrastructure resilience & risks; adaptation and mitigation pathways for the energy systems;
5) Experimental validation and testing of energy-related technological solutions contributing to decarbonisation (incl. energy storage) at the prototype stage in relevant/operational environments.
Includes digitalization solutions for cost reduction and operation optimization. Offline implementation.
Service will be charged as full payment. Specialized consulting studies: average daily rate of about €300; Experimental validation and testing of technological solutions for energy systems (incl. energy storage) at the prototype stage in relevant/operational environments: an average daily rate in the range of €300-450, depending on the type of technology in focus.
