Service description

The Innobound Climatic Acceleration Programme is a 6-month hybrid programme designed for startups and spin-offs in greentech, cleantech and climatech to help them scale their businesses, finding customers, and solving real case challenge. Targeting impact-driven ventures in the green transition sector, the programme enhances business, investment, and technological readiness through expert mentoring, strategic guidance, and networking opportunities. The goal is to upskill EIC beneficiaries with skills in science-based entrepreneurship and technology commercialisation, equipping them with the knowledge and tools to successfully bring their innovations to market. They will gain expertise in connecting science to market needs, communicating scientific concepts effectively to a non-scientific audience, and evaluating pathways for technology commercialisation.

The programme is structured into three key phases: i) Business Readiness (customer validation, business model refinement, and go-to-market strategies), ii) Technological Readiness (sustainability assessment, impact measurement, and climate compliance as IP guidelines), and iii) Investment Readiness (financial structuring, investor engagement, and fundraising strategy). Participants gain access to top expertise, impact assessment tools, investor matchmaking, leadership and negotiation training, and opportunities to showcase their solutions to key stakeholders. By the end of the programme, startups will have a validated business model, a strong impact measurement framework, and increased investment readiness, integrating into a European ecosystem of experts, mentors, and investors. Delivered in a hybrid format through expert mentoring, peer learning, hands-on workshops, and a final demo day, the programme accelerates the growth of impact-driven startups, increasing their visibility and funding opportunities in the green innovation landscape.
