An ongoing IP Consultation Service, targeting all EIC beneficiaries, focused on formulating effective IP strategies to enhance value, profit, and innovation performance. This comprehensive service includes several activities: B.1. Assessment of technology portfolios and IP assets analysis (1-2 months); B.2. Priority analysis and patent landscaping, including novelty verification, and assessment of the IP environment in target countries, covering legal, technical, and financial aspects for IP registration and defence (1-2 months); B.3. Technology due diligence for legal protection through various IP rights (1-2 months); B.4. Know-how governance, providing technical advice for risk mitigation and securing trade secrets (2-3 months); B.5. Designing a consistent IP valorisation strategy and action plan (1-2 months); B.6. IP economic valuation, involving market value calculation using techniques like discounted cash flow and benchmarking (1-2 months); B.7. Company economic valuation to determine the business value related to IP taxation (1-2 months). The expected outcome is to boost technology exploitation potential, and strengthen the internal strategy of intangible assets valorisation. Additionally, it aims to refine the value proposition and business model of the EIC beneficiaries, but also to improve the company's reputation and market presence, leading to greater visibility and expanded opportunities to connect with potential investors and partners. The service can be delivered remotely.

Financial requirements

The fee will be calculated on the basis of the number days estimated to provide the service in a range from €450 to €650 per day. Some additional costs can be incurred in the provision of these services that can be charged to the Beneficiary to obtain local information (such as access to databases, market research, selected lists, etc.).
