EP3S2This programme supports startups and spin-offs with a business support programme of minimum 12 months. The programme has been created for high-tech and deeptech startups and gives participants unique access to a state-of-the-art network of tech experts and IP. The day-to-day support of the teams is handled by an experienced Venture Acceleration Manager that will outline a tailored development and support roadmap per individual team based on the 6 building blocks of imec.istart (access2: coaching, community, tech, finance, talent and market). Furthermore imec.istart offers a dedicated suite of workshops catered to the needs of tech teams and pays for housing in a co-working space and dedicated 1:1 follow-up trajectories with experts. Imec.istart has best in class metrics as it is followed-up by funding and high success rate. On average, imec.istart teams have been able to secure a x36 factor in follow-up investments for every euro invested by imec.istart to reach an impressive total of almost €700 million.
The Programme is free of charge with a small dilutable equity stake of 6% for istart.nl Seed Fund for an investment of €50000. Imec.istart.nl will invest another €50000 as a Convertible Loan Agreement.
Teams that apply for the Dutch imec.istart programme will need to move their headquarters to the Netherlands. Teams may apply a maximum of 2 times. EIC beneficiaries will be selected based on the quality of their application with a cap of 3-5 EIC beneficiaries per year.
