A two to twelve-month service to measure and assess the actual environmental impacts generated over a product or service life cycle for all EIC beneficiary projects. This service aims to employ a vital tool in transitioning to a Circular Economy and reaching a new sustainable future. Covered by international standards (ISO 14040 and 14044), Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) services include: Determination of the environmental performance of products and services; Identification of critical stages that may highly contribute to environmental impacts; Acquisition of reliable and comparable environmental information; Quantification of environmental benefits achieved through Circular Economy strategies; Determination of Carbon Footprint and Water Footprint. This service can be done online although some field/onsite visits may be helpful in some cases and whenever necessary. If the beneficiaries can share all data relevant to the project, it's possible to run activities exclusively online. LCA services may typically require 2 to 12 months, and their cost is negotiable depending on the scope and size of the project.
Selection criteria (in case of higher demand of services): A. Alignment with past projects or IPN interested areas (e.g., Circular Economy related systems); B. Technological innovation C. Request from widening countries.
Negotiable depending on the scope and size of the project (ranging from €15000 up to €60000).
