IPPLM - Sylwester Kaliski Institute of Plasma Physics and Laser Microfusion

Poland

Service ID:

EP86S1
Service description

The service offered is the development of plasma diagnostics, among others for fusion devices, like tokamaks and stellarators but also for accelerators, studies of plasma and particle behaviour and modelling. The service covers: design and development of plasma diagnostics installation and laser system alignment; synchronisation, calibration, operation, estimation of material qualifications and interpretation of the results; laser spectroscopy and diagnostics - operation and data analysis computer simulations - verification of experimental results laser interferometry, shadowgraphy, schlierenography neutron and gamma radiation diagnostics, X-ray diagnostics resistance testing against thunder strikes of flying objects, elements of avionics, any elements exposed to atmospheric hazards, experimental data collection, processing, modelling, analysis, interpretation and preparation of extended reports. The Institute is used to working on the project-based organisation of the delivery of Work Packages/Deliverables within the duration of the agreed project plan, budget and required type of services. The Institute provides diagnostics in the form of engineering measurement systems. The targets are private and public product and service providers, technology developers and end-users including manufacturers, academia and research, the army and hospitals positioning themselves in technology development, manufacturing, material engineering and processing in space, aviation, transport, energy, safety & security, defence and healthcare.
