Service ID:

EP86S2
Service description

This service entails the manufacturing of equipment and devices required to perform material and plasma testing and diagnostics (mostly, GEM such as gas electron multiplier, detectors, generators of a simulated lightning discharge). The institute is used to working on the project-based organisation of the delivery of Work Packages and Deliverables. Each phase of project implementation requires different time scales: manufacturing may require months, installation and testing could require weeks, and operation and maintenance are subject to agreed conditions. The target groups are private and public product and service providers, technology developers and end-users including manufacturers, academia, research, army and hospitals positioning themselves in technology development, manufacturing, material engineering and processing in energy, transport, safety & security, defence and healthcare.
